“Content creating feels like a full time job” – so says every overworked, overcommitted online business owner ever. You too?
But if you want to get more eyeballs on your business and connect with your audience at scale, you and I both know the content conundrum is basically an unavoidable one.
Enter Hoppy Copy, an AI content creating platform designed to help you create better content for your business.
This isn’t your neighbor’s AI platform – the one that can spit out a list of Father’s Day gift ideas, the perfect gluten free beer battered fish recipe, AND a headline for your Facebook ad…
Hoppy Copy doubles down on content creation for the small business set.
It has revolutionized my content game. And I think every business owner should know about it.
Because the more quality content you can create that connects with your people and shares your magic, the bigger the impact you can have and the more growth you’ll be able to achieve.
In this article, I’m sharing my process for turning Hoppy Copy into a content creating assistant in your business to create authentic, on-brand marketing content with AI in a fraction of the time.
What makes Hoppy Copy different from allllll the other AI tools out there (’cause there’s a lot)?
If you were anything like me, when AI first popped on the scene, maybe you thought: “YES, finally – the answer to my content prayers. This is going to change everything.”
You envisioned this magic tool where you put your idea in and a perfectly worded and formatted blog post in your distinct brand voice popped out. Already optimized for SEO. With the killer title and meta description to match.
And then you actually tried using them. And even though they were kinda helpful, they were a far cry from the content engine you actually needed them to be.
Their outputs were generic. They were riddled with overused phrases like “picture this” and “treat yourself”.
And no matter how much prompting you gave it, they always seemed to sound like an infomercial (“Have you ever thought about getting a walk-in tub?!”).
I had all but given up on finding an AI tool that could *actually* create compelling content that was true to my brand, engaging to read, and could get me meaningful results (a.k.a leads and $$$).
And then someone mentioned Hoppy Copy in one of my small business circles.
I was skeptical. But after running one content prompt in Hoppy Copy, I was hooked.
Hoppy Copy is the AI tool for entrepreneurs and small business marketers
The reason Hoppy Copy is THE AI tool for entrepreneurs is because it was designed for marketers. It’s not trying to serve the market at large. While it bills itself as an AI tool for email marketers specifically, it can create just about any type of marketing content. And create it really well.
Meaning it might not be able to help you generate a 3-day itinerary for a trip to Helsinki that’s toddler friendly…
But it can for sure help you nail a tight hook and compelling CTA for your Black Friday teaser email, sans constant refining and tweaking.
How I use Hoppy Copy in my content creation workflow
Step 1: create your content gameplan
The key to creating content quickly is to have a plan or process that you can return to and repeat versus always going off the cuff or starting from scratch.
The first step in my process is mapping out the content I want to share for the month or quarter. I think about the goals I want to achieve and the different lead magnets, products, or services that I want to focus on. Starting here helps me make sure I’m creating content that is going to serve a meaningful purpose in my business.
I then think about the channels I need to create content for and how often I want to be showing up on them. Once I’ve got those identified, I slot them into the calendar. Then it’s just a matter of figuring out the content I want to share for each of those slots. And for that, I first look at the content I already have.
Step 2: Identify content to recycle and repurpose
Here’s a leetle piece of advice from me to you – you don’t need to come up with loads of new content ideas every single month.
When you have a few pieces of core content that work well in your business, you can repurpose and recycle that content every so often instead of feeling like you need to completely reinvent the wheel. And Hoppy Copy makes this so easy it almost feels like cheating.
If you’re thinking: “Won’t people get sick of reading about the same things?”
I promise you they won’t. In fact, repeating core messages can be a huge benefit to your business.
One of my favorite David Ogilvy quotes is: “You aren’t advertising to a standing army; you are advertising to a moving parade.”
The people who see your message today in all likelihood aren’t going to be the same people who see it two months from now.
People are constantly moving in and out of your orbit. Continually repeating and refreshing your core messages means everyone who experiences your brand knows exactly what you’re about.
Step 3: Take your content plan to Hoppy Copy and work some magic ✨
Once I’ve got my content topics mapped out, I take it to Hoppy Copy to start actually creating the content. And here’s where things get awesome, making Hoppy Copy hands down the best AI tool for marketing content (and I’ve tried several).
No matter the type of marketing content you’re creating, Hoppy Copy has a workflow for that. For instance, if you want to write social media captions, all you have to do is select the Social Media workflow. Using a couple drop downs, you can tell Hoppy Copy exactly what kind of social media post you want to create and the style you want it to have.
Once you make your selections, the prompt box will automatically fill with a templated prompt. Add your topic info, tweak the template to your liking (sometimes I remove some of the pieces of the prompt) and voila.
Next up, you can change the tone of voice you want the content to have and the format you want Hoppy Copy to use to craft the template. My personal favorites are Hook & Line and the marketing classic, PAS (Problem, Agitation, Solution) – a copywriting oldie, but goodie.
Hit create and Hoppy Copy does the rest. It’s not always perfect, but it’s usually pretty darn close. With a few quick adjustments it’s ready to roll. I copy and paste into my content calendar or directly into my scheduling tool (Plann is my fave). All told, I can create a single social media post in less than 2 minutes.
But the thing I love most about Hoppy Copy is that you can take the exact same content topic, change up the Workflow, Post Template, Tone, or Format and have a completely different piece of content in seconds. Perfect for recycling and repurposing those core content pieces I mentioned earlier.
What Hoppy Copy has that other AI tools don’t – and why it matters
It gives you the prompts, all you have to do is add the details
I don’t know about you, but I have spreadsheets full of intricate AI prompts that I’ve gathered from this AI specialist and that content marketer. And they’ve definitely been helpful and served a purpose.
But it takes time to scroll through them, find what I need, copy and paste it over to ChatGPT, and finesse it.
With Hoppy Copy, you don’t need the spreadsheet of prompts, because Hoppy Copy gives you the right prompt based on the kind of content you want to create and the format and style you want it to have. Just add your topic details and hit Create.
They have workflows for every possible online marketing need
It’s also not just for social media posts. They have workflows for meta descriptions, sales pages, value propositions, ad copy, all kinds of different emails (cold outreach, newsletters, welcome sequences, abandoned cart, and more!)
No other AI tool I’ve tried does this.
Choose from a variety of tones or create your own brand voice
If you know how you want your content to sound, the cadence or tempo you want it to have, and the types of words you want it to use, you can add those details to Hoppy Copy and save it as your brand voice. They also have some standard tones to choose from, in case you’re feeling stuck.
Use a slightly different tone on Instagram than you do on LinkedIn? No problem – you can add multiple brand voices and use them interchangeably depending on the channel you’re creating for or the topic you’re writing about.
You can spam-check your email copy within the platform.
Stressed about whether or not your emails are actually landing in the inbox and not the spam folder? You can check your deliverability right in the platform with the Hoppy Copy spam checker. Which is a valuable tool in and of itself, especially since some email service providers either don’t offer this functionality or charge extra for it.
If you’re going to invest the time in writing the email, you want to make sure it lands in the inbox and gets read, right? The spam checker helps ensure it does just that!
